Laryngoscopy
A laryngoscopy is an exam that allows the surgeon to get a close up view of the larynx / vocal cords. It is usually done when vocal cord pathology is present like nodules or tumors. It is mostly done under general anesthesia but it can be done in the rooms – in cases where Botox or fillers are injected into the vocal cords.
