Dr Estie Meyer qualified as an ENT surgeon in 2009 and worked as a consultant at Groote Schuur and Red Cross Children’s Hospital between 2009 and 2022. During that time she developed an interest in endoscopic ear surgery, started the Bone Conduction Hearing Device Programme, was a regular faculty member at local balance courses and was the first surgeon from South Africa to attend the sialoendoscopy course in Geneva. She now runs a general practice where she enjoys the variety of private practice pathology and believes in a holistic approach for her patients.
Her free time is spent with her two teenagers, two schnauzers, playing the church organ and the occasional ballroom dance evening.
